M-Tech Improves User Experience, Scalability and Security with IDM Suite 4.3.0®
M-Tech Announces IDM Suite 4.3.0, with major enhancements to strengthen security, improve usability and scale to very large organizations.
Calgary, Alberta, Canada - February 25, 2008 -M-Tech Information Technology, Inc., a leading provider of identity management software, today announced the release of IDM Suite 4.3.0 with a major focus on improving user service, strengthening security and lowering IT support costs. The IDM Suite 4.3.0 consists of ID-Synch, ID-Access and ID-Certify.
The upgraded software was developed in response to customer feedback and an ever-increasing focus on managing identities and access within medium-to-large enterprises.
"IAM solutions can provide benefits such as simplifying administration and containing costs, improving service-level targets (SLTs) and SLT achievement, managing risk, complying with regulations and prompt responses to business needs," according to a November 19th, 2007 Gartner report titled Identity and Access Management Technologies Defined, 2008.
Highlights
- An improved identity synchronization engine that integrates automated provisioning with self-service workflow and that supports per-attribute priority assignment.
- New and updated target connectors, including Notes/Domino (V7 and V8), Remedy ARS (V7), RSA Access Manager (V6) and SSH.
- Major scalability improvements to ID-Access, to support operation in Active Directory domains containing up to 250,000 security groups.
- Usability improvements across many pages and forms.
- Stronger authentication to the API, using one time passwords and subnet filtering of API clients.
- Improved performance across many components.

A trial software download is available for the IDM Suite 4.3.0 to provide customers with the ability to install the Suite in a test environment.
