As one institute of the Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft, a non-profit
R&D organisation, the IITB performs contract research for
public and commercial customers. Our group is mainly
interested in industrial diagnosis problems to be solved by
means of signal analysis and classification. Of special
interest is currently combustion engine diagnosis: XSERUM
is a fully Linux-based combustion engine diagnosis system
(see http://www.iitb.fhg.de/~kir/xserum/index.html).
