Position summary:
Hitachi ID has been experiencing tremendous demand for its innovative software solutions and requires a Marketing Coordinator to start immediately. This position reports directly to the VP of Marketing and provides an exciting opportunity to gain valuable experience while offering growth potential within the company.
Responsibilities:
- Event planning, such as booking and follow-up for seminars, speaking engagements, customer training, etc.
- Development of customer case studies
- Arranging web-based seminar registration forms and invitations
- Development and dissemination of press releases
- Liaison with business development departments to develop joint marketing opportunities
- Organization of marketing materials and supplies
- Conduct research to identify marketing opportunities, including researching editorial calendars, speaking opportunities, conferences and trade shows
Qualifications:
The successful candidate must have:
- Undergraduate degree or diploma in Commerce, Communications, Public Relations, or another related discipline
- Competency with Microsoft Office: Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Comfortable with new technologies
- Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
- Proactive and results focused with the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent communication skills (oral and written)
