Position summary:
- Support account executives throughout the sales cycle.
- Capture Fortune 500 customer requirements and configuring optimal product solutions.
- Articulate technical solutions and features against competitive products.
- Present and demo products effectively.
- Carry out on-site and remote (phone, webinar) presentations.
- Assist prospective customers in preparing business cases and test plans.
- Review and respond to customer RFPs.
Qualifications:
A successful candidate must have:
- 3+ years experience in supporting large, complex infrastructure software deployments.
- Sound knowledge of network technology and security.
- Strong hands-on skills in Unix and Windows environments.
- Proven project management experience.
- ID management experience an asset.
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills. Ability to communicate effectively with all organizational levels.
- Experience in preparing RFI, RFP and similar documents.
- Comfortable with and proficient in giving presentations to groups of people.
- Strong sales and negotiation skills.
- An undergraduate degree.
- Ability to travel as required.
- Windows 2000 Active Directory familiarity
- Novell NetWare NDS familiarity
- At least one SQL-based DBMS server familiarity
- IIS and Apache familiarity
