Position summary:

The successful candidate will be working closely as part of an integrated team in assisting Hitachi ID customers (IT administrators) with Hitachi ID Identity Management Suite software installations. The incumbent will be focusing on high-level support that is both remote (via telephone and e-mail), and on-site to our worldwide customers.

The position provides support staff with the training and experience to pursue an internal career progression from Technical Support to Implementation to Technical Architecture.

Qualifications:

A successful candidate must:

Have strong Unix skills.
Have 3+ years of full-time experience.
Be familiar with Windows NT and 2000 server administration.
Have experience with deploying web applications.
Understand TCP/IP networking, HTTP(S) and HTML.
Have strong verbal and written communication skills.
Be curious, adaptable and have a passion for learning.
Be a team player.
Be willing to travel.

Desired (not required) skills:

A college degree in related field.
Windows 2000 Active Directory familiarity.
Novell NetWare NDS familiarity.
At least one SQL-based DBMS server familiarity.
IIS and Apache familiarity.

Selection process:
