Position summary:

The successful candidate will be working closely as part of an integrated team in testing the functionality and usability of Hitachi ID software products. The incumbent will be engaged in an environment that utilizes both Linux and Windows servers.

Qualifications:

Successful candidates will demonstrate:

At least two years experience in commercial web applications testing including test case development, reporting and regressing bugs
Ability to write clear and concise bug reports
Ability to work in a Linux environment
Familiarity with a command-line interface
Knowledge of scripting or programming languages
An understanding of web servers and HTML
An understanding of TCP/IP networking
Strong writing and communication skills

Candidates must have previous software testing experience with at least three of the following:

System administration experience in an enterprise environment
Software development experience
Programming and/or scripting experience (Perl, C++ or Java)
Active Directory administration
Unix/Linux server administration
SQL-based DBMS server (Oracle, SQL Server, Sybase)
LDAP administration
IIS or Apache administration
Web application deployment
VMware
Load & Performance Testing experience
Lotus Notes/Domino
